ENQUIRE FOR A PLACE
 

We are accepting children on E/D Band PRAGMATICS Tier 2/3 & those with an EHCP.

To express your interest in securing a place for your child at HOPECFI, please first communicate with your school or nursery SENCo. You can also complete our Enquiry form to notify us of your interest and we will liaise with your child's school and together, explore if our center is the best place for your child. If the school is requesting the placement on behalf of your child, they can fill out the Enquiry form. Parents or the school are responsible for making travel arrangements to and from HOPECFI.

PAYING FOR MY CHILD TO ATTEND HOPECFI

In some cases, your child's school may fund this placement thorugh their SEND Budget or by requesting a review of your child's EHCP to cover the full cost of attendance. If your child is not currently enrolled in school and you are registered with the Local Authority for Home Education and your child has an EHCP and EOTIS packages, you will need to request the Local Authority to cover the full cost of attendance via a review of your child's EHCP and join us privately. We are Ofsted registered, therefore you could claim Tax Free Childcare, Tax Credit or Universal Credit. "A minimum attendance period of one full academic term is required. Termination of a child’s place must be communicated in writing, with no less than four weeks’ notice prior to the end of the current term.

EOTAS & HOME EDUCATION 

Children with an Education Other Than At School (EOTAS) package or those who are home educated may attend HOPECFI for up to 16 hours per week during term time, and full-time during holidays. Funding may be available through Tax-Free Childcare, Universal Credit, or the Local Authority for children with an EHCP. Parents may request an EHCP review to include HOPECFI in their child’s plan.

CHILDREN AGED 4 - RECEPTION CLASS DEFERRAL

Summer-born children (born 1 April–31 August) may defer entry to primary school and attend HOPECFI full-time from the September after their 4th birthday until the September following their 5th birthday. Parents should contact the Local Authority Admissions Team to request deferral. During this period, children may remain eligible for 15 or 30 hours of funded childcare, Tax-Free Childcare, or Universal Credit. If your child has an EHCP, you may request a review to secure funding for HOPECFI. Please consult your nursery SENCo for support.

CHILDREN WITHOUT AN EHCP

Please speak to a relevant professional such as your SENCo, SENIT, Health Visitor, Child Psychologist, Teacher or Social Worker to explore your Financial and placement options.

SCHOOL ENROLLED CHILDREN - DUAL REGISTRATION

Children enrolled in school may attend HOPECFI part-time (up to 16 hours per week) at no cost to parents, if funded by the school. Schools may: Request an EHCP review, Apply for Exceptional Needs Funding, Use SEND budgets. This is ideal for children on reduced timetables or facing attendance barriers due to health, behavioural, or additional needs.
